1. What can be deleted
You can remove local game progress at any time. If you used an online feature, you can also request deletion of Mythic Idle cloud-save or leaderboard data associated with you.
2. Delete local game data
- Open Android Settings.
Go to Apps, then select Mythic Idle.
- Open Storage & cache.
The exact wording may vary by device manufacturer.
- Select Clear storage or Clear data.
Confirm the warning. This permanently removes the local Mythic Idle save and settings from that device.
- Optional: uninstall the game.
Uninstalling normally removes local app data, but cloud or Android backup data may still exist separately.
3. Delete or disconnect Google Play cloud-save data
First, use Mythic Idle’s save settings to switch to local-only or disconnect Google Play cloud save where that option is available. To request deletion of a cloud save that Sprock Games can identify and control, email us using the button below.
Information held solely within your Google account or Google Play Games may also need to be removed through Google’s account and Play Games privacy controls. We do not receive your Google password and cannot delete your entire Google account.
4. Delete public leaderboard data
If a released version has a public leaderboard enabled, you may request removal of your display name, player identifier, XP total and update timestamp. Include your exact leaderboard display name and any information that helps us verify the entry without exposing sensitive credentials.
5. Submit a deletion request
Send the request from an email address associated with prior support correspondence where possible. We may ask for limited information needed to locate the data and protect another player’s save from unauthorised deletion. We will process verified requests within the period required by applicable law.
6. Information that may be retained
We may retain a minimal record where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution or to document that a request was completed. We will not retain game data merely to keep an account “frozen”. Data controlled independently by Google or another provider is subject to that provider’s retention rules.
